The first month of the new decade is gone but I hope and pray that our resolve to transform from the inside is not.  I hope and pray that we do not fall into the cultural trap of letting our focus fade and of eventually giving up.  Remember that, even in prison, even with no earthly future ahead of him, even having accomplished much in his past Paul still pressed on, strived, strained ahead to become more and more like Jesus.
